We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Permanent Process Engineer to join our progressive engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our team that strives to revolutionize the engineering industry. As a Permanent Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequence, and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. You will work closely with our design and manufacturing teams to ensure that our products are produced at the highest quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
  • Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Use AutoCAD to design and implement new manufacturing processes or improvements to existing ones.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve efficiency and productivity, and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Process Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Project Management.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product design, production equipment capabilities, and quality control standards.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
