Job Details

Our client is an international B2B capital markets data & fintech company with leading investment banks, brokers, fund admins and asset managers as clients in the USA, and they're scaling for further growth. As part of continued expansion plans they're expanding their US operation and one of the key hires is a Sales Engineer, which is a critical role working closely with the sales team providing data solutions subject matter expertise in a client facing role including:

- Building strong relationships with prospects to understand their enterprise data workflows.

- Preparation and execution of product presentations ranging from standard demonstrations to prospect type workshops and proof of concepts to meet their needs.

- Efficiently organise resources to meet with the needs of the prospect at each stage of the sales process.

- Assist with the preparation and completion of proposal responses (RFP, RFI etc) in partnership with the Account Executives.

- Provide feedback to product management of any trends or consistent requests from prospects that will drive new product innovation and functionality.

Appropriate applicants will have:

- Investment banking / investment data experience gained at either a reference / market data or technology provider. This experience could have been gained in a consulting, pre-sales, sales engineer, product analyst, business analyst or implementation type role.

- The ability build rapport and assimilate the data workflow of prospects, identify pain points which could be overcome, and present business benefit driven solutions to clients meeting their needs.

- Intelligent, articulate and confident, and you will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as this role has a strong client facing edge.

- The personal motivation and ability to contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial team culture.

Location: New York or Boston areas (flexible to either office, hybrid or remote working).

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience.
