This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Job Description
CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Software Test Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to
- Design, create, and execute test plans and test cases for applications from business requirements and conceptual documents.
- Create, modify, and improve automated test suites.
- Set up, configure, and maintain software test environments.
- Design and implement test solutions and provide them to production by completing all testing phases.
- Review requirements, assessing appropriate courses for testing, executing test plans, and ensuring all anomalies and issues are addressed appropriately. Execute end to end tests, API testing and involve in continuous integration using Jenkins.
- Execute and analyze manual tests, enhance automated tests, growing/creating additional scripts and updating the automated test suites as the functionalities, products, and technologies continue to evolve.
- Execute software test plans, tracking test results on a regular basis, implementing improvements, and creating systems and test documentation per organizational standards.
- Participate in test design and plan review sessions with peers and other stakeholders and mentor the new resources joining the team.
- Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- Position requires experience in the following through academic coursework and/or work experience:
- Testing RESTful APIs;
- Executing SQL and querying the database for results;
- Developing and implementing automation using Selenium WebDriver and Java;
- Performing testing using TestNG;
- Using Jira and Rally to track bugs, issues & manage iteration status; and
- Using GIT for code versioning and commits.
