Technical Project Manager
Key Role:

Manages all aspects of product engineering activities including hardware, software, automation, and IT. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Provides technical project management leadership for projects from kickoff through completion. Applies technical leadership, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation techniques to resolve implementation, deployment, and operational transition issues for all stakeholders. Identifies and resolves potential gaps in technical execution as well as serves as the go-to resource for overcoming delivery challenges throughout project execution.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, including waterfall, Agile, or hybrid, including schedule, communications, risk, and scope management
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical projects with direct leadership engagement
  • Experience balancing new feature and development with ongoing operations and maintenance
  • Experience managing the development of enterprise cloud-native solutions in AWS, Docker, Jenkins, or Kubernetes
  • Experience with developing and managing executive-level documentation, reports, whitepapers, proposals, and briefings
  • Experience with software for AI or ML, big data, ETL, data quality, data management, applications secure cloud capabilities, or cyber technologies
  • Experience leading project teams with over 20 staff in a collaborative, high performing, and team environment
  • Ability to lead discussions and reach consensus among various stakeholders to conduct strategic planning, define business objectives, prioritize goals, and mitigate risks

  • Bachelor's degree


Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with JIRA and Smartsheet
  • Experience in a technical or software architecture, compliance, operations, or engineering leadership role
  • Experience with selecting, designing, and implementing
  • Ability to continuously read and learn about new technologies
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Ability to be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Master's degree
  • PMP, AWS, or Security + Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
