Job Details
Primary Responsibilities
- Support daily data center operations in a live critical environment, ensuring adherence to safety, operational, and compliance standards.
- Interpret and refine project requirements through direct collaboration with engineering staff and technical teams.
- Assign and manage rack space, cabling, switch ports, and infrastructure connections.
- Receive, stage, install, remove, and ship equipment including routers, switches, servers, security appliances, copper and fiber cabling, racks, and patch panels.
- Engage with project teams to ensure all work aligns with documented processes, procedures, and standards while minimizing business impact.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation for peer review and future maintenance efficiency.
- Communicate technical requirements, status updates, and issues clearly with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Work within environments utilizing Arista and Cisco networking, NetApp, Pure Storage, CMMS systems, and DCIM tools.
- Collaborate closely with a local 2-person site team and a broader 12-person operations group.
- Follow strict risk management, regulatory, and internal control standards.
- Complete additional operational and project duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years combined education and/or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated critical operations experience (top priority).
- Strong background in hands-on infrastructure and cabling work within live production environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills with experience providing technical updates and issue escalation.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and process-driven.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior data center operations experience.
- Background in critical facilities such as hospitals, power plants, or other high-reliability environments.
- Associates degree in technology or related field.
- Industry certifications or specialized technical training.

Work Environment & Expectations
- 100% onsite role; especially critical during training
- Evening schedule: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
