Release Train Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer in Plano or San Antonio, TX.

Summary:
A Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a leadership role focused on facilitating and optimizing the flow of value within an Agile Release Train (ART). They act as a servant leader, guiding Agile teams, removing impediments, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. RTEs coordinate ART activities, facilitate key events like PI Planning, and drive continuous improvement within the ART.

Job Duties:
* Effective Change agent
* Identify areas of improvement in the client's Agile execution and implement process change improvements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
* Previous RTE Experience
* Strong technical analyst skills - this person doesn't have to be a technical SME but ideally will have enough technical savvy to ask good questions improving our business requirement processes
* Strong presentation skills - both orally and visually
* Strong personality able to deliver messages to large audiences
* Presentation skills to deliver professional messages via PowerPoint, white papers, email, etc.
* Agile expertise (ideally SAFe - Scaled Agile Framework), Kanban, Scrum
* Experience with Jira and Rally - including knowledge to build reports and graphs to measure metrics and progress throughout the ART (Agile Release Train)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
