Join a global medical-device & cell-therapy organization as a Senior SDET / Data-Quality Engineer. You'll automate data-quality pipelines on our Azure/Databricks lakehouse to ensure regulatory-grade, analytics-ready datasets for upcoming post-market analytics releases.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated data-validation frameworks for batch & streaming pipelines in Databricks.
- Embed Great Expectations/Soda/Deequ tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD; block releases on critical failures.
- Generate synthetic/negative data and Python/SQL assertion libraries for reusable quality checks.
- Monitor quality metrics (null ratios, schema drift, duplicate rate) and route alerts via Azure Monitor/Grafana.
- Produce HIPAA & FDA 21 CFR Part 11 evidence artifacts for audits; document processes in Confluence
Minimum qualifications
- 5+ years in test automation or data-quality engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Factory/ADLS.
- Proficient in Python (PyTest/unittest) and SQL for data validation.
- Strong background integrating tests into Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred qualifications
- Great Expectations, Soda, or Deequ in production.
- Terraform (or ARM) for IaC; Docker containerization.
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and regulated healthcare data standards (HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11).
- Performance tuning of Spark workloads (partitioning, Photon, Delta Live Tables).
