RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Draper, UT, that is seeking a Senior Property Tax Consultant to join their dynamic team.

Summary:
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in property tax compliance and a passion for process improvement. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of property tax accounts, contribute to automation initiatives, and support strategic tax planning efforts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Tasks:
* Oversee the annual property tax compliance process for a diverse portfolio of accounts, ranging from small filings to complex industrial properties, in a high-volume environment
* Analyze assessment notices to identify and pursue appeal opportunities
* Process assessment notices and tax bills using property tax software (e.g., OPT, formerly OneSource)
* Contribute to automation initiatives and process improvement efforts within the Property Tax team
* Assist in managing exemptions, PILOT agreements, and incentive programs
* Coordinate communications with tax authorities and third-party stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* At least 2 years of experience in property tax compliance or consulting
* Familiarity with property tax software, with a preference for experience using OPT (formerly OneSource)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Comfort with learning new technologies and strong overall technical aptitude

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
