Job Title: Sr. DevOps Ansible Engineer with Python development exp.
Work Location:
Irving, TX/ Tampa, FL
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Ansible Engineer with deep expertise in DevOps CICD automation and Linux based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead infrastructure as code IaC initiatives drive automation across hybrid environments and collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and infrastructure teams to deliver automation solutions using Ansible and middleware IaC patterns.
- Partner with development and operations teams to implement practical automation solutions and custom Ansible modules.
- Establish and promote DevOps infrastructure automation models and best practices.
- Develop Lightspeed IaC pipelines to execute pattern-based playbooks and templates.
- Drive adoption of IaC patterns across application and infrastructure teams.
- Maintain automated tooling using Jinja templates PowerShell Shell Groovy and Python.
- Design and implement workflows for infrastructure release and upgrade processes across Dev UAT and Production.
- Manage source code repositories Git Bitbucket SVN ClearCase including branching and merging strategies.
- Collaborate with application teams to review infrastructure design and ensure alignment with automation goals.
- Conduct gap analysis document current state and provide recommendations.
- Lead proof of concept PoC initiatives for new tools and techniques.
- Perform root cause analysis and support incident problem management processes.
Technical Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in DevOps software configuration build deployment release management and infrastructure design.
- Expert level experience in Ansible and automation of middleware infrastructure Kafka MQ TIBCO WebSphere.
- Strong scripting skills in Python Shell and PowerShell.
- Proficiency in CICD tools such as Jenkins TeamCity and Harness.
- Handson experience with container technologies Red Hat OpenShift AWS Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep understanding of Unix Linux operating systems.
- Experience with source code management and CICD solutions Git Bitbucket UDeploy.
- Familiarity with repository management tools Artifactory Nexus.
- Experience with monitoring tools AppDynamics Kibana ITRS.
- Exposure to Windows scripting and Ansible for Windows environments.
- Knowledge of RESTful web services and Groovy Kotlin scripting preferred.
- Strong documentation skills for build deployment PoC and design documentation.
Mandatory Certifications:
- Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications
- CNCF Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
- CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
- Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Linux Professional Institute DevOps Tools Engineer
- Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
Preferred Attributes:

- Ability to mentor junior engineers and work across cross functional teams.
