Job Title: Project Manager Pipeline Integrity
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday Wednesday on site; Thursday Friday remote
Duration: Open-ended contract (potential for full-time conversion)
Pay Range: $55 - $60 per hour

About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in pipeline integrity and project management to join a newly formed team. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on Gas Pipeline. This role is highly operational and maintenance-driven, with most work being planned for the upcoming year.


Initially, the candidate will shadow and assist other PMs for 6 7 months, then gradually manage their own projects with decreasing supervision.




Day-to-Day Responsibilities




  • Lead teams and manage pipeline programs to identify and resolve piping issues




  • Conduct site visits to analyze pipeline conditions




  • Oversee pigging (inspection tools) and digging operations based on inspection findings




  • Execute and manage projects with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance




  • Analyze large volumes of data, distill key insights, and provide concise updates




  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project plans, findings, and next steps




  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure all activities align with integrity and safety standards




  • Travel approximately 25 30%, typically 1 2 times per month






Qualifications


Must-Haves:




  • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering




    • Other engineering degrees may be considered if accompanied by equivalent pipeline experience






  • 10+ years of experience in integrity or project management, strictly on natural gas pipelines




  • Strong communication and leadership skills




  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint




Certifications (Preferred):




  • Any relevant certifications in pipeline integrity or project management




Additional Plusses:




  • Experience in engineering firms or pipeline industry competitors




  • Familiarity with project economic analysis




  • Active participation in industry organizations or committees
