Job Details

Position: BI/Tableau Developer

Location: New Jersey

Position Type: W2 contract

Duration: 12+ Months

Hybrid: 2 Days onsite and 3 days remote

The ideal candidate will have: Tableau, BI, Visualizations and SQL, Complex Reporting

Job Description:

  • Create dashboards and reports using Tableau
  • Set up Tableau Server and publish workbooks
  • Manage user accounts and server content
  • Conduct training to educate users on Tableau
  • Design and implement proof of concept solutions, and create advanced BI visualizations using trending, historical, and KPI info.
  • Strong skill in SQL querying diverse type of databases and high-level joins.
  • Interact with business users and understand their requirements
  • Develop impactful presentations and documents, including written training materials
  • Communicate complex topics to team through both written and oral communications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6+ years of Tableau development
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficient with Agile/ Kanban
  • Proficient with BI visualizations
  • Strong SQL Skills - one or more of MySQL, Oracle, HIVE, Impala
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter who works with minimal supervision and the ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets
  • Ability to comprehend customer requests and provide the correct solution
  • Strong analytical mind to help take on complicated problems
  • Desire to resolve issues and dive into potential issues
  • Ability to adapt and continue to learn new technologies is important
  • MicroStrategy experience is a plus.
  • Banking Experience a Plus
