Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position provides governance and oversight to the IT Asset Management (ITAM) Program by ensuring the program's published policy, standards, procedures, job aids, controls, and operating metrics are effectively managed and aligned with regulatory requirements and risk management strategies. The position includes but not limited to analysis of highly complex aspects of the ITAM program, evaluation of process effectiveness, identification/facilitation of improvement opportunities, and special projects as needed. In addition, the position collaborates daily with peers, process domain leads, risk lines of business, senior leadership, or stakeholders, as appropriate, and serves as an ITAM governance partner and subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

  • Governance and Oversight: Provides governance and oversight to aligned ITAM domain's processes. Well versed in published policy, standards, procedures, job aids, controls and operating metrics. Performs routine documentation reviews, identifies opportunities and facilitates necessary actions.
  • Control testing: Establishes practices to perform routine, sample testing of ITAM controls. Partners with aligned ITAM domain to resolve any improvement opportunities.
  • Data Analysis: Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs data analysis on an advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Performs quality control of aligned ITAM domain's metrics and reporting. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. Recommends and/or implements new operational metrics, where applicable.
  • Communication: Prepares or assists with documentation. Includes leading training sessions, demos, office hours, or other presentations for ITAM domains, technology partners, and other technology leadership.
  • Special projects: Leads or supports special projects, as needed, to resolve a potential process gap, introduction of new capability, research effort, or other ITAM leads.
  • Leadership: Leads by example, a forward thinker, and a lifelong student. Recognizes opportunities to mentor and educate ITAM team members and technology partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting

Preferred skills:

  • Proven IT Asset Management knowledge, including working experience of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Configuration Management, Application Portfolio Management, and/or Discovery modules.
  • Familiarity of FFIEC and ITAM frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, and COBIT.
  • Large financial institution (LFI) experience, including Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) a plus.
  • Experience with defining, drafting, and implementing ITAM policies, standards, controls, and metrics. Includes control testing. Experience with Archer is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Includes ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills. Includes a keen attention to detail, an ability to identify and interpret data trends, and ability to assess current and future state processes from a risk lens.
  • Experience working in an agile environment. Experience with Jira is a plus.
  • Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven organizational and time-management skills, including the prioritization of multiple tasks.
  • Experience with tools (i.e. iCertis, Coupa) supporting ITAM processes is a plus.

The base pay for this position is generally between $102,00 and $150,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
