Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Contract Operations Analyst for a contract position in San Rafael, CA. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the contracting process and serving as the main point of contact for the Global Sourcing & Procurement organization, Managed Services Provider, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate contract execution. This position also involves the day-to-day administration of the contract lifecycle management systems (SAP Ariba and Icertis) and processes.

• Manage and track in-process contract requests, drafts, and executed agreements through the end-to-end contracting lifecycle.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the contracting process within SAP Ariba and Icertis, ensuring procurement contracts progress efficiently.
• Coordinate with Legal, Procurement, MSP, and business stakeholders to provide contract status updates and advise on process questions or issues.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues in contract metadata or system errors.
• Develop and improve contract workflows, identifying process improvements and areas to increase efficiency and throughput.
• Generate reports to monitor contract volumes, cycle times, bottlenecks, and statuses.
• Assist in the development and implementation of contracting SOPs, policies, and training materials.
• Liaise with Procurement, Legal, and Supplier Operations teams to identify and resolve system and process-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal contract and procurement policies, as well as system requirements.
• Collaborate closely with sourcing colleagues, the Legal team, and colleagues across the company.

Qualifications:

• Stakeholder Management: Build credibility through strong relationships and a solid track record of results via a collaborative approach. Develop a wide network of relationships across various functions and foster cross-functional alignment.
• Team Collaboration: Align with peers to develop operational strategies and ensure alignment with overall goals. Partner closely with functional owners across the company.
• Source to Pay mindset: Demonstrate a deep and wide knowledge of the Source to Pay process, including supporting technology to optimize operations.
• Communication: Skilled in written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP Ariba Contracts and Procurement modules, preferably in an operational and/or process management capacity.
• Preferred experience using and/or administering Icertis CLM systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as PDF editing tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat).
• Working knowledge of other contract management systems and procurement platforms is a plus (e.g., DocuSign, Coupa).
• Experience effectively working with and giving direction to managed-services teams.
• Specific knowledge and expertise in contract lifecycle management systems and processes.
• Results-driven mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills with comfort working cross-functionally to gather information and resolve conflicts.
• Motivated, high-energy, curious, self-starter with a strong business mindset.
