Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Azure Data & Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud-based data processing and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure serverless components, streaming analytics, data integration tools, and secure application delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop serverless compute solutions using Azure Functions
• Ingest and process real-time data using Azure Event Hubs and Azure Stream Analytics
• Build scalable data pipelines and orchestrations using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Store and manage unstructured data using Azure Blob Storage
• Query and analyze large datasets using Azure Data Explorer (ADX)
• Implement secure and scalable API routing and delivery using Azure Application Gateway
• Ensure secure access and identity management through Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data integration needs and deliver robust solutions
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot performance and reliability of Azure-based workflows

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in cloud-based development with a focus on Microsoft Azure
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Event Hubs, ADX, ADF, and Stream Analytics
• Solid understanding of data integration patterns, streaming data processing, and data lake architectures
• Familiarity with setting up and managing Azure Application Gateway for secure API endpoints
• Experience in managing and securing Azure Blob Storage environments
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and working with REST APIs
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like ARM templates or Bicep
