Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Flexera Consultant to implement, configure, and manage Flexera Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions, including FlexNet Manager Suite, Flexera One, and related products. The consultant will work closely with clients to provide expertise in software license compliance, optimization, and cost reduction, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT governance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, configure, and administer Flexera SAM tools (FlexNet Manager Suite, Flexera One, Flexera Data Platform).
  • Integrate Flexera with enterprise systems (CMDB, ITSM, Cloud Platforms, SCCM, Active Directory).
  • Analyze software usage data and generate compliance and optimization reports.
  • Work with stakeholders to design and deliver license optimization strategies.
  • Support cloud and on-prem license management across vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, Adobe, etc.).
  • Conduct software audits and true-ups, ensuring vendor compliance.
  • Provide technical expertise for upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting within Flexera.
  • Collaborate with procurement, IT operations, and finance teams to align SAM processes.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and automation scripts for asset management.
  • Train client teams on Flexera best practices and tool utilization.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) with strong Flexera expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with FlexNet Manager Suite, Flexera One, and Flexera Data Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of software licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL, PowerShell, or Python scripting for data extraction and automation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Nice to Have
  • ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL-based SAM processes.
  • Experience with other SAM tools (Snow, ServiceNow SAM, Aspera).
