World Wide Technology is looking for a (UX) User Experience Manager with Product Owner Experience. This role is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Terms: 12-month Contract, possible extension
Location: Remote Travel to St. Louis, MO a few times per year
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $60 to $80 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in base pay.
Job Summary: The User Experience (UX) Design Manager is responsible for overseeing the consumer-centered digital design team. This role significantly impacts online assets and requires a deep understanding of current digital design trends and user-centered design. The manager collaborates with User Interface (UI/UX) designers, developers, product managers, and executives throughout the planning and development lifecycle. Additionally, they ensure consistent brand application, align with strategic growth goals, and reflect Company Values in all departmental operations, adhering to our mission and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate ideas from rough sketches to finished projects across various media.
- Maintain a strong sense of corporate brand and visual identity.
- Oversee the configuration and optimization of agile tools to enhance agile delivery processes, product road mapping, tracking, and status updates.
- Lead product discovery and research initiatives. Collaborate with product line product teams to gather insights and data that inform product strategy and development.
- Exhibit creativity, flexibility, risk-taking, teamwork, and dependability.
- Manage a rapid prototyping team and contribute to best practices for human-centered design.
- Thrive in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
- Maintain the integrity of the brand identity program and stay updated with current web-design software and hardware.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in design, computer science, or psychology.
- 8+ years as a (UX) User Experience designer or interaction designer.
- 5+ years Product Owner experience.
- 2+ years managing a collaborative design team.
- Healthcare/Medical Industry experience required.
- Experience leading design for mobile, desktop, and hardware interfaces.
- Experience in full life-cycle design projects from strategy through execution.
- Certification(s): UI/UX design certification preferred but not required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Web Design/Layout.
- Experience with HTML, video, flash, content management systems, and copy-editing.
- Ability to create human-centered design solutions with a strong creative vision.
- Adaptability to the healthcare industry s fluidity and evolving needs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools. Aha! Jira, ServiceNow Flow Designer, preferred experience.
- Generative AI IVR workstream; Omnichannel / Ai workstream experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Self-starter capable of working independently.
