Description

We are looking for a skilled Banking Analyst to join our team in Kerrville, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, and supporting strategic planning efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical abilities and a comprehensive understanding of banking operations and financial practices.

Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed financial analyses to assess lending, investment, and credit trends.
Prepare and deliver financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for leadership and regulatory bodies.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
Evaluate financial health by analyzing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow for borrowers and business clients.
Perform risk assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Collaborate with departments such as commercial lending, compliance, and treasury to provide actionable insights.
Support market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.
Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, assisting with audits and reviews as required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in banking, financial analysis, or a similar role.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial modeling and data visualization tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to present complex financial data clearly.
Knowledge of banking operations, lending practices, and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows 10, and basic troubleshooting.
Experience handling service desk tickets and working with Windows.
