Job at a Glance
- The client is seeking a Technical Product Manager to join the commerce team and lead delivery work for a product in development.
- The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in documenting the desired future state of the product.
- They will help to drive and prioritize features, working closely with delivery.
- This full-time role is based in Orlando, FL, with an onsite schedule 4 days per week (subject to change).
Responsibilities
- Document and refine functional and technical requirements.
- Document existing business and technical processes within the commerce team in Parks Commercial Platforms.
- Work independently and in partnership with commercial teams to understand current business systems and illustrate the future state system.
- Drive requirement-gathering meetings with cross-functional teams and maintain consistent communication with peers and leadership.
- Facilitate sessions to determine the feasibility of specific requirements, analyzing the impact on existing business and technical processes.
- Manage technical discussions to gain alignment, and act as a gatekeeper and negotiator with business and product partners.
- Drive capability roadmap, dedicated to a squad/team.
- Proactively communicate squad/team status, issues, and risks to leadership.
- Document application behavior and implementation.
Qualifications
- BA or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Engineer, or similar, working with user interfaces, web services, databases, and cloud infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge with experience leading technical initiatives that span several teams and functional areas.
- Advanced at writing business and functional requirements.
- Experienced level in Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced knowledge and ability to use collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Non-exempt (paid for overtime).
