Compensation Range
Hourly: $26.25 - $39.90 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of the role is to leverage large data sets to deliver meaningful reporting, analysis, and data solutions to clients of Enterprise Analytics and Business Intelligence (EABI) in support of business strategic objectives.

*Candidate must be in the St. Louis or Kansas City area. Remote work available, but must be flexible to come into the KC office for moments that matter.

Essential Functions
  • Develop and maintain accurate recurring reporting with guidance from leadership
  • Refresh, update, and investigate interactive visualization interfaces utilizing SAP Business Objects/PowerBI, and Cloud-based reporting platforms.
  • Develop ad hoc data solutions using SQL with guidance from leadership
  • Create request requirements with leadership guidance
  • With guidance from leadership consult with IT partners for data structure development, maintenance, troubleshooting and data transmission
  • Meet deadlines with planning assistance from leadership
  • Communicate and concisely present process results and methodology to manager and peers
  • Adhere to department best practices and policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Basic understanding of relational databases
  • Ability to effectively utilize business intelligence software (SAP Business Objects/ PowerBI/Databricks)
  • Willingness to assist team on complex projects
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or similarly related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 1+ year data analysis experience required

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $26.25 to $39.90 per hour.
