Client Looking Skills Snowflake Lead Developer

Snowflake Development

  • Proven experience as a Snowflake Lead Developer

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse

  • SnowSQL scripting and Stored Procedures development

  • Expertise with Tasks, Streams, and Snowpark

Data Engineering & ELT

  • Strong experience in ELT pipelines using Snowflake SQL & Stored Procedures

  • Performance tuning, optimization, and complex SQL query development

  • Troubleshooting skills for SQL and data processing issues

Programming Skills

  • Python DataFrames (Pandas)

  • PySpark (big data transformations & processing)

Job Scheduling & Automation

  • Working knowledge of scheduling jobs in Snowflake/ETL tools or orchestration frameworks

Data Migration

  • Experience migrating data from on-prem RDBMS systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.) to Snowflake on AWS

ETL / ELT Tools

  • Hands-on experience in one or more ETL tools:

    • Informatica

    • Talend

    • Matillion

    • DataStage

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders
