Duties & Responsibilities:
Job Description
Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Some operations are in a clean room environment.

- Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. \n
- Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. \n
- May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. \n
- Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. \n
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. \n
Qualifications - External

- GED/High School Diploma or equivalent \n
- Preferred 5+ years of relevant experience \n
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the U.S. To be eligible, you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. \n
- Has a clearance or is able to re-certify to work in environments that require a government security clearance. \n
- Must be shift flexible. Shifts are typically 12 hours and are available between day and night. This is a 24 hour facility that staffs shifts to accommodate. \n
- Preferred experience in:
- \n
- High Vacuum coating. \n
- Familiarity operating a spectrophotometer \n
- Assembly experience with under microscope soldering, metrology \n
- High Vacuum coating experience (Box/UCP) \n
\n - Experience operating in an ISO Quality environment. \n
