Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud CPQ Solution Architect with hands-on experience in Pricing, Quoting, ABOs (Advanced Business Objects), BML scripts, and Document Engine. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end CPQ implementation, providing both functional leadership and hands-on configuration expertise, ensuring the solution meets complex business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Oracle CPQ Cloud implementations, including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

  • Design and configure pricing and quoting solutions, including complex pricing rules, discounting models, and approval workflows.

  • Develop and maintain ABOs (Advanced Business Objects) for product, pricing, and quoting logic.

  • Write and troubleshoot BML (BigMachines Language) scripts for advanced customization and workflow automation.

  • Configure and optimize the Document Engine for generating quotes, proposals, contracts, and order confirmations.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable CPQ solutions.

  • Create functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and integration specifications.

  • Work with technical teams to integrate CPQ with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.

  • Provide guidance on CPQ best practices, governance, and solution scalability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex CPQ issues during implementation and post-go-live support.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in CPQ, with Oracle CPQ Cloud expertise.

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect for multiple end-to-end Oracle CPQ implementations.

  • Hands-on experience in:

    • Pricing and Quoting setup and configuration

    • ABOs (Advanced Business Objects)

    • BML scripting for customization and workflow automation

    • Document Engine configuration and optimization

  • Strong understanding of CPQ integrations with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.

  • Knowledge of CPQ best practices, data modeling, and scalable solution design.

  • Excellent documentation, communication, and client-facing skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle CPQ certification.

  • Experience with Subscription Management, Order Management, or manufacturing-specific CPQ implementations.

  • Experience in multi-region, complex pricing environments.

  • Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes.
