Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst

The Company has recently launched a new ad-supported tier to offer our members more choice in how they consume their content. The new tier allows to attract new members at a lower price point, while also creating a compelling path for advertisers to reach audiences that are deeply immersed.
As a Sales Compensation Analyst, you will be
Involved in Incentive Plan Building and User Acceptance Testing in CaptivateIQ which entails:
Document Scenarios: List all incentive compensation scenarios per payee and plan component, including standard, accelerators, exception, and edge/boundary cases (such as tier transitions).
Design Test Cases: Convert scenarios into detailed test cases by assigning specific payees and data. Manually calculate the expected outputs (incentive, tier, payout) to serve as ground truth.
Load Test Data: Use real or representative data to feed the test system, ensuring both typical and unusual situations are considered (boundary tests, rare exceptions).
Validate System Output: Compare system-calculated results with manual calculations for each test case to confirm accuracy. Address discrepancies jointly with the implementation or incentive compensation admin team.
Iterative Feedback: Provide assistance with the remediation and retesting of any issues or problems identified during the process.
Support Captivate IQ Incentive Tool Management which includes but not limited to:
Assist with preparing the quarterly Incentives Payroll Template.
Provision users into CaptivateIQ and assign participants to their respective SIC plans and dashboards.
Assist with hierarchies, promotions, termination, & LOA's adjustments within CaptivateIQ.
Assist with participant quota and team assignments within CaptivateIQ.
Add participants to the SIC Eligible Employees Group.
Grant participants access to the Plan Summaries (Plan on a page).
Issue plan documents and monitor completion.
Ensure FX rates are up to date and aligned with quotas.
Support the Plan Design Process which includes but not limited to:
Support in drafting communications that will go out to the sales organization
Support in Plan Launch activities including assisting with powerpoints, documentation updates, etc
Assist with Ads Sales Hub updates and other ad hoc document development.
Support revenue research for exception requests by capturing and summarizing data and estimating the impact on payouts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze financial and sales data, spot discrepancies, and resolve issues.
Attention to detail: High degree of accuracy in calculations and data management is essential.
Technical proficiency (preferred): Expertise with Excel, incentive management platforms (like Captivate IQ, Xactly, or Varicent), and CRM/ERP systems (such as Salesforce or SAP).
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field
