Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, containerization, automation, and cloud platforms. The candidate will lead DevOps architecture, manage large-scale infrastructure, and automate deployments across cloud environments. This role requires deep knowledge of DevOps tools, strong scripting, and the ability to drive end-to-end automation in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes for microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.

  • Manage and optimize version control workflows (branching strategy, PR gates, release management).

  • Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

  • Build and deploy applications using Docker containers and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).

  • Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform.

  • Implement monitoring and logging systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Datadog.

  • Manage environment provisioning, auto-scaling, and system performance tuning.

  • Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices throughout the SDLC.

  • Ensure security compliance with DevSecOps practices, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.

  • Troubleshoot CI/CD failures, deployment issues, and production outages.

  • Mentor junior DevOps engineers and lead technical discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10 15 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering.

  • Expert-level experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.

  • Expertise in infrastructure automation: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.

  • Strong scripting skills: Python, Bash, Shell, Groovy.

  • Cloud expertise in AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform (any one required, multi-cloud preferred).

  • Experience with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, Datadog.

  • Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, firewalls, security groups.

  • Experience with secrets management: Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault.

  • Strong understanding of Linux, system administration, and server management.

  • Experience with blue/green deployments, canary releases, rollout strategies.

  • Experience supporting production systems 24/7 with high availability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ArgoCD, Spinnaker, FluxCD (GitOps tools).

  • Hands-on experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).

  • Kubernetes certification (CKA/CKAD/CKS).

  • Experience with FinOps, cost optimization, cloud budgeting.

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication & documentation skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving & troubleshooting abilities.

  • Leadership experience in managing DevOps teams.

  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, agile environments.
