Job Details

Job Title: Java Developer (Kafka & MongoDB)
Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in Apache Kafka and MongoDB. You will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, managing real-time data streams, and working with NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop backend applications using Java and Spring Boot

  • Implement and manage Kafka for real-time data streaming

  • Design and interact with MongoDB databases

  • Build RESTful APIs for internal and external use

  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot

  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics)

  • Proficient in MongoDB (data modeling, queries, indexing)

  • Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture

  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes

  • Familiarity with other NoSQL or relational databases

  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
