Job Title: Datastage Production Support Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX / Atlanta, GA

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Datastage Production Support Engineer to join our IT operations team. The role involves providing L2/L3 support for ETL workflows, handling incidents and issues in production environments, and ensuring high availability and reliability of Datastage jobs. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ETL processes, Datastage, and production support in a 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, troubleshoot, and support Datastage ETL jobs in production environments
Perform root cause analysis and provide quick resolutions for data and job failures
Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and enhancements
Participate in incident and problem management processes
Ensure SLAs are met and production issues are documented and escalated appropriately
Maintain and enhance monitoring and alerting systems for ETL processes
Work with scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M) to manage job workflows
Perform code migrations and deployments following change management practices
Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles
Participate in on-call rotation and support during off-hours, as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in production support with strong focus on Datastage
Proficiency in troubleshooting Datastage job failures and performance issues
Strong SQL and data analysis skills
Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting
Familiarity with job scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys
Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
