Job Details
Our Client is an EFI&T Services provider to the major carriers in the Datacenter and Telco industry. They are currently assisting with the build out of these ISP's and Carrier's long haul networks that are being used for increase AI and Cloud traffic across the industry. In addition to providing installation services, they also need to perform initial FOC Testing on the fiber networks.
These individuals will be deployed in teams of two who are responsible for testing the quality of the signal between two points. The purpose is primarily to locate and measure reflective events (Connectors, Splices) and loss along a fiber link. The FOC Technicians will be provided the testers and all tools required to perform this work. How it works: Sends a pulse of light to create a trace (Like a map of the fiber). Key things it tells you: Length of the fiber, Location of faults, breaks, bends, Loss at splices/connectors, etc.
This work has been created by their current workload expansion, they're looking for 4 lead caliber FOC Experienced Technicians.
National Travel required, expenses and travel will be compensated. Typically people are home every week to two weeks, it's rare but sometimes travel up to 3 weeks before returning home. They are looking for candidates who want a long-term opportunity.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
