Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our operations by:
1. Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize production processes and eliminate waste.
2. Utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor, control, and optimize production processes.
3. Designing and implementing process layouts to improve efficiency and productivity.
4. Applying Industrial Engineering techniques to analyze, design, and implement manufacturing systems and processes.
5. Using SolidWorks to design, model, and simulate manufacturing processes and equipment.
6. Implementing Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate defects in manufacturing processes.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and cost-reduction strategies.
8. Troubleshooting and resolving production issues and equipment malfunctions.
9. Training and mentoring junior engineers and production staff on manufacturing processes and equipment.
10. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, SPC, Process Layout, Industrial Engineering, SolidWorks, and Six Sigma.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and cost management.
10. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a plus.
