Business Systems Analyst with Insurance experience

Overview:

• Team is 7-8 people, very collaborative and supportive, mentor each other
• Need someone who knows systems and configurations to bridge the gaps on team, no coding required
• Interact with business and their need, move technical work forward
• Working with Underwriting and Claims teams
• Someone who learns quickly and can go into a new domain and be successful
• Combination of day to day tactical support and strategic initiatives work
• A lot of work for the team in the next 5 years

Requirements

1. MPL experience would be fantastic
2. Insurance experience and understanding terminology
3. Workers comp is similar to MPL
4. General insurance experience
5. Property and Casualty

Technical Experience

• Sapient platform Mostly doing configurations, broadly understand requirements, writing them down, do config aspects with this, this is teachable so need someone who has done the work before and is looking to expand their skills
• If no Sapient experience, open to other insurance platforms, insurance core platform configurations
• General SQL querying to understand how data fits business requirements
• AWS understanding cloud platforms as their tech stack has a lot of cloud integration, if not, can they learn it
