We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Program Manager to join the Xbox Cloud Gaming and Ecosystem Expansion team. This role will focus on driving Xbox Play Anywhere Go To Market readiness, managing strategic cloud gaming partnerships, collaborating with game studios, supporting Rhythm of Business (RoB) operations, and contributing to next-generation product planning and execution. - Purpose of the Team: Drive collaborative program management for the Xbox cloud gaming and ecosystem expansion team.
- Key Projects: Oversee cloud gaming initiatives, support ecosystem expansion, and manage cross-functional projects within Xbox.
Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm:
- Organize and coordinate teams across functions.
- Influence stakeholders and drive project progress.
- Analyze data to inform decisions and track project metrics.
- Operate fully remotely, with PST time zone preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Xbox Play Anywhere GTM Enablement: Partner with internal channel leads and external stakeholders to operationalize Xbox Play Anywhere campaigns.
- Coordinate messaging, asset readiness, and launch timelines for key titles supporting Xbox Play Anywhere. Track and report on campaign performance, player engagement, and SKU attach metrics.
- Strategic Cloud Gaming Partner Management: Support partner marketing initiatives with OEMs . Collaborate with legal, PR, and regional teams to ensure alignment on partner deliverables and approvals.
- Rhythm of Business (RoB) & Program Ops: Own the planning and execution of RoB cadences including weekly team syncs, GTM forums, and executive reviews. Maintain project trackers, dashboards, and meeting documentation to ensure visibility and accountability. Drive cross-team coordination across Xbox Marketing, Product, and Partner teams.
- Next-Gen Product & Market Expansion: Contribute to planning and execution of next-gen initiatives both hardware and software.
Candidate Requirements
Years of Experience Required: 5-7 years preferred, but candidates with up to 10-15 years are considered if comfortable in an IC role.
Degrees or Certifications Required: None required.
Disqualifiers: Candidates seeking people management roles (this is an IC position); lack of Microsoft experience is a disadvantage but not a strict disqualifier.
Best vs. Average: Top candidates have prior Microsoft experience (vendor or FTE), background in product marketing, and experience working with external partners.
Performance Indicators: Demonstrated ability to organize, influence, coordinate teams, and analyze data; ability to quickly adapt to Microsoft processes.
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, program management, or partner marketing-preferably in gaming, tech, or entertainment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Xbox ecosystem, cloud gaming, or GTM planning.
- Experience supporting RoB or executive-level reporting.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
