Engineering Project Manager

Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Engineering Project Manager for our client based out of Greensboro, NC.

This assignment is anticipated to be a 12 month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.

This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and updating project time plans, meetings communication, and follow-up.
• Managing project quality assurance.
• Assuring appropriate processes and principles are followed.
• Tracking risk management.
• Project coordination in larger projects or programs.
• Managing large projects or end-to-end processes with limited oversight from the manager.
• Coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
• Handling difficult and often complex problems.

Experience:

• 8+ years in Project Management & Support.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience in risk management and quality assurance.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
