IT Configuration Manager

As a Configuration Manager on our team, you will have the chance to drive the engineering and change enablement process in support of the Department of Defense (DoD). Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize critical national information systems. You'll develop your skills in Information Technology, while gaining experience in the DoD and its agencies. You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining Configuration Management ( CM ) planning documentation, ensuring configuration control of system designs, Technical Data Packages ( TDP ) , and all Configuration Items ( CIs ) , including hardware, sof tware, licenses, and documentation
  • Experience collaborating with program offices, engineering, procurement, and property management teams to manage hardware and sof tware configurations and technical baselines, including design documentation, schematics and drawings, interface control documents ( ICDs ) , and specifications
  • Knowledge of creating and maintaining functional, physical, and product baselines, and managing lifecycle support, warranty, lease, and license information
  • Ability to coordinate Configuration or Change Control Boards ( CCBs ) and Engineering Review Boards ( ERBs ) , ensuring all change requests, supporting documentation, schedules, and notifications are accurate, complete, and delivered on time
  • Ability to maintain the CM Plan annually, ensuring configuration identification, control, status accounting, and auditing, integrate with DOD enterprise CM tools, and use Government-specified repositories to manage configuration data
  • Ability to prepare and deliver CM status reports, inventories, change request documentation, and briefing materials in compliance with task order deliverables and Acceptable Quality Levels ( AQLs )
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of hire date


Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with DOD processes, tools, and repositories such as DOD SharePoint or enterprise ITSM tools
  • Experience with DoD engineering documentation formats and configuration data requirements, including standards for design drawings, ICDs, and baseline documentation
  • Knowledge of DoD Configuration Management policies , standards, and Acceptable Quality Levels ( AQLs )
  • Knowledge of lifecycle sustainment planning, technology refresh strategies, and disposal planning for government systems
  • Bachelor's degree


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
