Crew software engineering associates use a variety of technologies in Agile and lean startup methodologies to automate manual processes, create microsites, learn new technologies, and everything in between.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Full Stack Developer - Java in developing web applications using Java technologies, including JavaEE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the web application meets the needs of the user and the organization.
Assist in developing and maintaining the database schema and stored procedures using relational databases like MySQL and Oracle.
Test and debug the web application to ensure it meets the functional and performance requirements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices to ensure that the organization's web applications are state-of-the-art.
Write test automation scripts/execute automation tests
Qualifications:
4 year degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience/skills in the following technologies ideal: SQL (db query), C# (back-end), Copilot (general use - generating code, creating test cases, etc.)
Experience/skills in the following nice to have: React (frontend), Jenkins (CI/CD), Insomnia (test automation - experience with other test automation tools helpful too)
Flexibility/interest in both Development and Test Automation work
Curiosity/continuous learner and self-starter
The salary range for this role is $57,500-$72,500 or the hourly equivalent.
