Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Analyst Senior Analyst for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Create and execute data strategy to improve data trustworthiness and usage for Citi U.S. Consumer Bank business. Work in partnership with the business process owners, data providers, data custodians, and other stakeholders to define and promote data steward strategy. Adhere to Citi Data Governance Policy (CDGP) to maximize data value for business use. Act as the subject matter expert on CDGP, providing insights and inputs on metadata standards, metadata management process, and data quality. Responsible for issue management and resolution using Data Concern Remediation Management practices and ensuring adherence to data-related Citi policies and standard. Raise data concerns and recommend solutions, and track their progress towards completion in the Application Lifecycle Management tool. Provide support around data steward related initiatives and direction for data governance and value generating activities. Define data management requirements and deliverables to reduce associated risks. Review and document the procedures in accordance with CDGP. Support the Data and Source Certification process and monitor Data Quality Reports using Tableau, Collibra and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tool. Conduct root cause analysis and risk assessment for data defects using ALM tool. Identify stakeholders and conduct meetings for strategy requirements. Work with technology teams to identify strategic tools and the required capabilities for data and quality management. Capture metrics and other qualitative measurements to identify any areas for improvement. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related field and 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Business System Application Developer, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Analytical Consultant, Applications Developer, or related position involving data quality and data management strategy building and execution in the global financial services industry. 3 years of experience must include: Designing data catalogs in Data Management Tool based on industry standards; Identifying and defining necessary technical and business requirements to deploy data quality solutions and enhancements; Working with complex and variable issues, weighing various alternatives, and balancing potentially conflicting needs; Identifying and documenting the current-state system lineage and metadata by leveraging Data Management Tools; Data systems and data quality management using ALM tool; Database management and Data Profiling using PL/SQL; Data Analysis, Data Mapping, Data Management; MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts, Graphs), MS Visio; Building current-state data quality rules to ensure accuracy of the data coming from Authoritative Data Sources (ADS); Utilizing Tableau to produce metric reporting and Software project management utilizing Jira User Stories and Confluence.
