Position: Data Engineer
Type: W2 Contract
We re looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines that support enterprise analytics and digital transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and has a strong background in modern data engineering tools and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data frameworks
- Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business teams to define data needs
- Build and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based data platforms
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across systems
- Support data integration, transformation, and orchestration workflows
- Contribute to data governance, security, and compliance practices
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Python, Spark, or Scala
- Proficiency in cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, or DBT
- Familiarity with data modeling, APIs, and streaming data technologies (e.g., Kafka)
- Understanding of Agile development and CI/CD practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
