RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Financial Planning: Leading the financial planning process, which includes three-year, one-year, and latest estimate/forecast planning cycles; This task involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce accurate and comprehensive financial projections focused on cost reduction
* Month-End Closing: Overseeing the month-end closing procedure to ensure prompt and precise financial reporting; Responsibilities include account reconciliation, journal entries, accruals, preparation of financial statements, and ensuring all financial activities align with accounting standards and regulations
* Accounting Compliance: Ensuring adherence to established accounting guidelines and internal controls through regular reviews and audits of financial transactions to maintain compliance and integrity
* Requisition Creation: Creating requisitions and purchase orders for technology-related expenses
* Account Reconciliations: Performing ad-hoc account reconciliations, variance investigations, and reporting
* Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Leading initiatives for continuous improvement in financial management within the technology sector
* Contract Management: Collaborating with procurement to manage contracts and achieve cost savings
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or Accounting
* 2-5 years of experience in project management, budget planning, and/or financial planning
* Expertise in SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
* Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
* Must be process improvement-focused
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
