Job Title: Central Sourcing Contractor
Job Type: W2 Contract - 12 months (Potential to Extend)
Location: Bass Creek, MN (Hybrid - Onsite Tues-Thurs)
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking a Central Sourcing Contractor to support the Sourcing Organization from a tactical perspective. In this role, you will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, follow established processes, and help maintain sourcing operations for delivery, quality, new product integration, and cost competitiveness.

This position supports the Category and NPI (New Product Introduction) Sourcing teams, focusing on strategy implementation and day-to-day sourcing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Relations:

    • Request BOL/shipping documentation from suppliers.

    • Assist with new supplier onboarding and profile updates.

    • Enter cost changes, tooling requests, and maintain parts/system data as requested.

  • Sourcing Operations Support:

    • Track and communicate progress on daily tasks and priorities.

    • Maintain current costing and resolve invoice quantity discrepancies with suppliers, plants, planning, and Accounts Payable.

    • Collaborate with sourcing, quality, and engineering teams to address issues.

    • Support meetings, organize presentations, and maintain documentation as processes evolve.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process efficiency and workflow improvement.

    • Help ensure alignment with sourcing strategy and organizational priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and presentation development.

  • Detail-oriented and a strong team player.

Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS CPIM and/or ISM C.P.M./A.P.P. certifications (desired, not required).

  • Previous materials or purchasing experience is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced office environment.

  • Up to 5% travel may be required.
