Job Details

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Kennesaw, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management of risk for up to two Technology Executives by partnering with the leadership and their teams to apply subject matter expertise to support a culture of risk identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks
  • Solve problems analytically by applying a mixture of risk and technology expertise to perform impact assessments, identify root causes in support of the technology control activities, and drive risk reduction in the respective technology Teams
  • Monitor the health of audit issues through their lifecycle, including action plan development and validation through approval reviews
  • Align to critical Risk and Regulatory work with senior internal and external constituents and stakeholders
  • Communicate complex technical subject matter into clear, concise language suited for various audiences ranging from executives to junior analysts
Requirements:
  • Risk Business Analyst Technical Risk Officer with 5+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in technology with some applied within financial services or risk
  • 3-5 years of professional domain expertise in technical discipline, such as data management, artificial intelligence and/or information security
  • Strong communication and leadership skillsto drive collaboration with teammates across organizations (Technology, Operations, Audit, GIS etc.) and with the management team to identify opportunities to improve control and reduce risk
  • Microsoft office - (Excel for pivot tables, PPT for presentations)
  • Organizational acumen
  • Demonstrate increasing levels of accountability and ownership
  • Demonstrate ability to operate as a change ambassador by advocating and embracing change across diverse stakeholders groups
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills with ability to positively influence and motivate teams
  • Comfortable with ambiguous situations capable of analyzing, simplifying and collaborating to solve complex problems
  • Strategic thinker, self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight
  • Ability to coordinate and drive execution of priorities and meet deadlines to adhere with policies and standards
  • Can quickly "connect the dots to demonstrate ability to identify and perform thematic analysis
Desired skills:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree
  • CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM certification or similar
  • Prior operational risk or compliance experience in the technology arena
  • Detailed, bank-specific risk management and governance experience
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners
Pay range: $38.44 - $46.44
