The Technology Lead will support Amplify's evolution from manual pilot to scaled platform by building automations that enable the team to operate efficiently today while collaborating with client IT to implement the automated platform for tomorrow.
In the near term, you'll rapidly prototype and implement automations using low-code and no-code tools to support the manual pilot program-a concierge-guided experience helping customers through EV selection, home assessment, and charger installation. You'll build workflows, integrations, and AI-enhanced tools that allow the Amplify team to deliver personalized support at pilot scale.
As the product demonstrates value and readiness to scale, you'll transition to working closely with client IT and external development vendors as a technical advisor and bridge, helping translate product requirements and operational learnings into specifications for an automated customer-facing platform that can serve customers across client's service area.
As part of the Amplify venture team, you'll work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within client, moving quickly from idea to implementation while building toward enterprise scale.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be the Oakland General Office. The role reports to the Amplify General Manager.

Job Responsibilities The Technology Lead will:
Rapidly build and iterate on automations using low-code and no-code platforms to support manual pilot operations
Implement AI-enhanced tools including an EV selection agent and online home assessment
Create workflows and integrations that connect pilot program components (application forms, scheduling, data tracking, communication)
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and quickly prototype solutions
Collaborate with client IT and external development vendors to translate product requirements and operational insights into technical specifications for scaled platform implementation
Serve as technical advisor during platform build-out, helping clarify functionality and bridge startup and enterprise approaches
Work closely with the Product Manager to understand customer needs and rapidly test solutions
