Job Title - IAM Automation Engineer

Contract - 12 Month - Hybrid

We are seeking a highly skilled IAM Automation Engineer to lead initiatives focused on automating policy adherence monitoring across enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. This role blends technical engineering, policy compliance, and AI/ML capabilities, working closely with SMEs and senior leadership to scale and enhance IAM controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated IAM policy monitoring frameworks.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec, IAM, and DevSecOps teams to define and enforce policy-as-code.
  • Integrate AI/ML solutions to detect anomalies and non-compliance in access patterns.
  • Serve as an IAM Subject Matter Expert, contributing to strategy and governance initiatives.
  • Support audits, policy reviews, and compliance documentation with automated evidence collection.
  • Optimize integration of IAM tools (e.g., Okta, Azure Entra, PAM, MFA) with policy automation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Information Security, with 4+ years focused on Identity and Access Management.
  • Experience with IAM tools: Okta, Azure Entra (AAD), PAM, IGA, MFA.
  • Familiarity with cloud IAM platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Hands-on experience with policy-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Experience using AI/ML for security automation or anomaly detection.
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, RBAC/ABAC, and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of security controls, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
  • Familiarity with decentralized identity, passwordless authentication, or blockchain-based IAM.
