Operations Support Watch Officer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination, planning, and execution of operational events that support the missile defense system in accordance with established processes and procedures.
• Support functions related to configuration control, asset management, operational readiness, and situational awareness to ensure maximum missile defense capability is available to the warfighter.
• Facilitate the processing of requests for analysis and operational information.
• Provide support for business operations activities including:

• Prime contractor engagement
• Infrastructure and IT support
• Fiscal planning
• Training development and coordination

• Contribute to Ground-Based Weapon System program efforts, including:

• Integration and scheduling
• Development and fielding of capabilities
• Cybersecurity impact assessments
• Sustainment engineering and operational support

Non-Essential Duties:

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing and reporting operational activities.
• At least 2 years of experience leading complex teams in an operational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to:

• Collect, analyze, and report on operational readiness data and impacts.
• Gather and disseminate information related to critical incidents and significant events.
• Understand and communicate the effects of asset and configuration management on major weapons systems.
• Assess information and make timely, critical decisions.

• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Self-starter with attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in team environments.
• Proven ability to manage and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in standard office equipment and personal computers.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with database tools and readiness tracking systems is a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Active Secret clearance strongly preferred.
