RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Engineer (Support) in Westlake, TX.
Key Tasks:
* Systems engineering or infrastructure support
* Supporting modern authentication standards such as: SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth 2.0, FIDO2/WebAuthn; Using platforms like Ping Identity and Microsoft Entra ID
* Working in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Science, or a closely related field
* Minimum of five years of IT experience in systems engineering or infrastructure support
* Experience supporting modern authentication standards such as: SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth 2.0, FIDO2/WebAuthn; Using platforms like Ping Identity and Microsoft Entra ID
* Experience working in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
* Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and network infrastructure
* Knowledge of Active Directory, SCIM and JWT
* Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a commitment to the highest levels of quality
Preferred:
* A cyber security certification, such as (AZ-104, SC-300, CompTIA, AWS sysops)
* Experience with Full stack development (front-end and back-end)
* Experience with Version control tools (e.g., Git)
* Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
* Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as (Python, PowerShell, Bash/Shell)
* Ability to automate tasks, perform log analysis, and integrate with APIs using scripts
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
