Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician with strong experience electrical and mechanical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and control systems to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues.
Program, modify, and maintain Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and related automation systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with hands-on experience in Allen Bradley PLCs.
Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming PLCs (RSLogix 500/5000, Studio 5000).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with VFDs, sensors, and industrial networking.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and practices.
