Day in the Life of a Software/Computer Science Engineer Intern
We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs. As an Engineering Intern at Bell, you can expect to:
- Gain familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
- Develop software / coding experience using C++, C#, Matlab and other industry standard development environments.
- Learn control system design and modeling
What You Will Need
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering required.
- Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2026) or prior Bell internship experience
- Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1- August 7, 2026
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
- Software / coding experience using C++, C#, Matlab and other industry standard development environments.
- Control system design and modeling using Simulink, and implementation on hardware.
- Software verification test experience in high fidelity hardware-in-the-loop (HILS) environments using integrated flight dynamic modeling of air vehicle performance
