Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree.
Top Skills & Years of Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the following:
- Install and configure systems and application components on Windows and Linux environments.
- Gather and document requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts.
- Experienced and knowledgeable with the following tools and technologies: Windows Server administration (2016 and later), RHEL 7.0 and above, Cloud Infrastructure Azure/AWS/GCP, Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management Studio, Dynatrace/ Similar debug tools, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio, SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), Network knowledge LAN/WAN, Architecture, Firewalls, IOT, etc.
- Analytical skills and extensive experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture including diagraming, remediating vulnerabilities and other application and server support duties.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- This role will perform system administrator assignments including but not limited to installing systems and application components and configuring them on Windows and Linux environments.
- This role will also be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts.
- Ensuring application and infrastructure security following Federal, State and industry standards are also an essential trait in this role.
- This position will maintain various COTS applications and help configure changes as required for some SAAS products.
- This position requires heavy collaboration with vendors, customers, and other technical areas to understand and execute projects and changes timely.
