Description
TEKsystems is seeking 3 highly skilled Windows 11 Refresh/Deployment Technicians. These positions are crucial for ensuring a smooth transition to the new Windows 11 OS and hardware for end-users. The technicians will be responsible for guiding users through the deployment process, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and providing exceptional support to ensure user satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, as the technicians will be the primary point of contact for end-users, explaining the new system and addressing any concerns. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience with Windows OS deployment, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, being onsite as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
End-User Communication: Engage with end-users to explain the new Windows 11 OS and hardware, ensuring they understand the changes and how to use the new system effectively.
Deployment Process: Follow the Windows 11 Build Process Map to execute the deployment, including questionnaire creation, USMT process, and build phases.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues that arise during the deployment process.
Documentation: Update tickets in Jira, maintain accurate records of deployment activities, and ensure all steps are documented.
Technical Support: Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing any issues or concerns related to the new OS and hardware.
Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and team members to ensure a smooth deployment process.
Hybrid Work Environment: Work in a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work remotely but be available to be onsite as needed for hands-on support and deployment activities.
Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Windows 11 OS and deployment processes.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with end-users.
Troubleshooting: Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Team Collaboration: Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with colleagues.
Flexibility: Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with onsite requirements.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
