Senior Cloud Developer

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. Salary: $50.00-$65.00/Hourly

Primary Skills: Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform

Secondary Skills: Azure API Management (APIM), Azure OpenAI, and Google Cloud Platform services, Vertex AI and Cloud Run

Role Description: The Senior Cloud Developer must have 10+ years of experience. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in both Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automating and deploying IaaS and PaaS services using Terraform, developing reusable Terraform modules/libraries, and building robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and Bash are essential. Experience with Azure API Management (APIM), Azure OpenAI, and Google Cloud Platform services such as Vertex AI and Cloud Run is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Responsibilities:

- Design and automate deployment of Azure IaaS and PaaS services using Terraform.

- Develop and maintain modular, reusable Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for Azure deployments.

- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Bash.

- Deploy and manage services such as Azure VMs, App Services, Azure App Gateway, Azure Functions, SQLDB, Azure SQL, Postgres DB, Mongo DB, AKS, Key Vault, APIM, and Azure OpenAI.

- Integrate Azure OpenAI capabilities into cloud-native applications and workflows.

Google Cloud Platform Responsibilities:

- Design and automate deployment of Google Cloud Platform IaaS and PaaS services using Terraform.

- Build and maintain Terraform modules/libraries for scalable Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.

- Deploy and manage services like Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, App Engine, GKE, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.

- Integrate Google Cloud Platform services into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

- Automate infrastructure and service provisioning using scripting languages.

- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm?s respectful and courteous work environment.

Education: Any/Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
