Job Title: Database analyst

Location: Tallahassee, FL(From day one onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Description

Required Consultant must demonstrate:

(Minimum):

  1. Demonstrated effective writing and documentation skills.
  2. Ability to analyze requirements, evaluate technical options, and assess feasibility.
  3. Ability to maintain professional working relationships with customers and staff.
  4. Ability to meet priorities and goals.
  5. Ability to work independently and in small teams.
  6. Attention to detail and consistency.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and customer staff.
  9. Database design and development concepts for OLTP and DSS skills.
  10. Knowledge of project and process management concepts.

Preferred Consultant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Database Administrator (Intermediate): minimum 15 years experience.

  1. Expert experience administering Oracle Database systems 9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c & 19c.
  2. Strong experience with ASM 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c & 19c, 21c and Oracle RAC.
  3. Strong experience in UNIX/Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
  4. UNIX/Linux, Windows shell and SQLNet scripting experience.
  5. Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) to include disk and tape experience.
  6. Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Controller/Cloud Control services for monitoring, reporting, DB and SQL debugging.
  7. Experience with Oracle encryption services, TDE both network based and at-rest.
  8. Experience with Oracle audit functionality and services.
  9. Data Extract, Transformation and Load experience to include Datapump and PDB migrations.
  10. Experience building and administering Oracle databases on physical servers, VMs, Exadata, ExaCC, Oracle Cloud and Oracle Database Appliances (ODA).
  11. Knowledge of Oracle DataGuard, Advanced DataGuard, log shipping and other DR processes.
  12. Experience with Oracle Cloud-at-Customer Database services, patching, upgrades, migrations and supporting Cloud-at-Customer databases and LISTENERs.
