Automation Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Automation Engineer in Englewood, CO.

Duties:
* Automation Engineer will design and develop programs that conduct automatic tests on new and existent software; They also use guidelines to develop programs and write automation scripts
* Designing and developing test automation scripts
* Using test automation guidelines. design, program, simulate and test automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks
* As an Automation Engineer, you will research issues in software through testing
* Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions
* Manage the Complete Automation phases from Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling, and Reporting
* Execute Performance tests using JMeter and certify that the application meets accepted performance metrics and sustains the desired load in real time environments

REQUIREMENTS:
* Extensive working experience on all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM and Waterfall Model
* Experience in reviewing and analyzing Business Requirements and creating Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Estimation & Test data creation
* Experience in Acceptance Test Driven Development Automation using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium Web Driver, Maven, Jenkins, Git, Eclipse
* Good working experience on SOAP UI and Postman applications for testing and validating various web services used in the application
* Expertise in writing SQL Queries and performing Database testing
* Expertise using Version One, Zephyr Scale for Manual Test Cases & Defects management
* Professional expertise in Smoke Testing, Back-end Testing, Black-Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional Testing, Positive/ Negative Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Accessibility Testing, Ad-hoc Testing, Cross Browser/Cross Platform Testing, UI Validation, Web Services Testing
* Ability to adapt to new environment quickly, strong team player, good communication, good analytical and computation skills enthusiastic learner, confident, sincere and committed

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
