RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client that is seeking a Software Dev Engineer II in Bellevue, WA.
Summary:
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer who will act as first level support and development for all incoming production software application issues. Your solutions will impact our customers directly!
Primary responsibilities include:
* Developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for production, improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges
* Responsibilities also include updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems
Typical Task Breakdown:
* Work to help reduce tech debt
* Address trust-breaking CX gaps
* Deliver critical customer-facing improvements
* Complete the foundational infrastructure required to support these launches
* Developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for production, improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges
* Updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems
REQUIREMENTS:
* A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience is required
* The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications
* They must be detail oriented, have good verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure
* Preferred coding skills: Java or C#
* Other desired technical skills include HTML, JS, CSS, Handlebars, Typescript
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
